This year VIP honors Ms. Cecilia Gastón as the first honoree of the Cecilia Gastón Award for extraordinary contributions to the cause of gender justice and immigrant rights. The evening will begin at 6:30 with cocktails and dinner, and culminates with and exciting award ceremony and entertainment at this prestigious NYC venue overlooking Central Park. The evening will be hosted by New York City's own Yolanda Vasquez of Telemundo 47.
Ms. Gastón's career spans 30 plus years and has been a guiding light for so many who have fought for gender justice, immigrant rights, and economic security for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. With her accomplishments and legacy in mind, VIP is thrilled to inaugurate this new award in her name.
