We are working in solidarity to support survivors

Dear Potential Donors,

The Evelyn Lozada Foundation (ELF) is kicking off Domestic Violence Awareness Month by launching the Turn Hurt Into Joy online fundraising campaign to benefit The Violence Intervention Program, Inc., (VIP) and Sauti Yetu Center for African Women.

Turn Hurt Into Joy Online Campaign is Evelyn's testament that a negative can be transformed into a positive! Several years ago, she wore a beautifully crafted Ines Di Santo original design (wedding dress) as she prepared to enter into one of the most sacred and memorable unions of her life. Evelyn was married in 2012, 3 weeks later she was in the hospital getting 6 stitches and 43 days after that she was divorced. Evelyn acknowledges that not having the financial means can contribute to hesitation when deciding to leave an abusive relationship--this campaign is her way of supporting DV Survivors via VIP and Sauti Yetu that are providing the actual services.

"Although all did not end well for me, it doesn't mean that my hurt couldn't be turned into joy!" -Evelyn Lozada

By donating to the Turn Hurt Into Joy Campaign, you will be making a difference in the lives of DV Survivors…and a chance to win an amazing wedding gown worn (and blessed) by Ms. Evelyn Lozada!

The winner of the campaign will be announced via Evelyn's social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram in mid November. Some additional exciting surprises are also being planned!
